Amazing Irony of Worldwide Unity Promoting Unity and In Same Page Condemning UAMM

PRAISE GOD FOR THE HOLY GHOST FIRE AND THE REPROACH UNITED ALASKA MORAVIAN MINISTRY GROUP BEARS, TODAY, FOR STANDING FOR THE TRUTH AND REMAINING UNDEFILED FROM A CORRUPT WORLD SYSTEM AND TRADITIONAL CHURCH GOVERNMENT THAT IS SELF-SUSTAINING AND TURNED INWARD.

Since April 2018, I remained silent regarding the March 2018 letter from the President and Administrator of the Moravian Unity Board. The letter in the address below shows how the present Moravian Unity discourages evangelism, outreaches, and expansion of Christ’s kingdom. This is symptomatic of its slow death with churches failing and/or remaining dead in America, in Europe, and around the world.

This letter from the Moravian worldwide Church shows how the Moravian Unity Board and the Alaska Province feels about UAMM and myself as a Moravian heritage bishop. The Holy Spirit should quicken you the reader and encourage you.

The Letter is intended to quench a powerful outreach and revival and movement for the sake of Christ’s Kingdom. I thank an anonymous pastor from a UAMM sister Church in the US who stated for us: “Stand fast and be aware that there are some, for their own purposes who resist a Holy Ghost Outpouring. The resistance at Azuza even from within the Church was strong! A Holy Ghost revival from within the Church was strong. A Holy Ghost revival restores power and authority to the people who follow Christ instead of only those in leadership roles. Satan counts on that. The need for human authority and intellectualism restricts the move of the Spirit. But a Holy Ghost outpouring can be delayed or moved, but it cannot be stopped”!

Praise the Lord, the Holy Spirit is moving in a wonderful way for expanding the gospel and planting Moravian heritage Churches and Fellowships where-ever the Holy Spirit leads.

I will conclude with the following as Bishop Lauden Kangele, another Bishop within UAMM, who leads a Church in Seattle Washington, says – “We are not a Moravian Church within the Moravian Unity; we are a Ministry Group!”

As a Ministry Group, we still remain a Moravian heritage organization within United Alaska Moravian Ministry. Since February 2018, we are also a part of the Global Fellowship of Moravian Revival Churches made up of over 100 Moravian heritage churches.

Moravian as a name is a misnomer. It simply shows where we come from historically. There is a time when your home can become so old, so filled with dust, and the foundations crumbling, then it is time to leave and rebuild. The older building still has usages and we bless the house which God can still use today.

The reality is in August 2016 UAMM was unjustly and through political pressure removed without opportunity for input on the Jamaica synod floor. But in spite of injustices, the removal has set us free! And we have been free to go and do what the Holy Ghost want us to do.

The website www.alaskamoravian.org, an informational website, which I’ve used exclusively for the Bethel Moravian Church (1997-2001) and Anchorage Moravian Church (2002-2018) for over twenty years was taken away a couple of weeks ago. Now as you notice it is being used to discredit United Alaska Moravian Ministry Group and myself as a Bishop.

Please feel freed to read the letter from the Unity. But please note that our view in God’s sovereign will is that we were were unjustly removed from the Moravian unity. Paul and Barnabas experienced conflict, they departed and the gospel through the early Church missionary journeys was doubled. In a short time UAMM has grown to 24 Moravian heritage Churches and Fellowships and still growing.

We today remain a Moravian heritage ministry group. We have taken great care to state that we are not part of the Alaska Moravian Province nor the Worldwide Unity. We are a separate legal organization. Now with an entirely different historical pathway of blessing and positive impact upon the world. Our influence for Christ and His kingdom is being felt around the world.

We solicit your understanding and support.
