The unity Brother Alexie saw was the result of getting rid of bitterness and allowing forgiveness to bring people together so that God will prepare to move. He saw this sin causing the Church to lose its power.
Earlier one of UAMM’s pastors, Rev. Ron Moo shared of the coming great end time revival eclipsing all past historic revivals that will be ushered in soon before Christ’s soon return in glory. But we must ready ourselves.
Then Bishop Nicholson was suddenly asked by Rev. Nose to rise from the floor, go to the pulpit, and give some words. Inspired by the Spirit of God, Brother Nicholson shared that we should recognize that in the audience are people from all over Alaska, from all the Native groups. And, so too, in attendance were a number of different ministry groups that have come to be blessed tonight. He shared that its’ not our job to build a denomination, but that, TOGETHER, we must fulfill our mission of building Christ’s Kingdom recognizing instead that we are a living family living out the full counsel of God’s Word.
Nicholson continued sharing that in order to advance our mission, we need to equip our people, empower them, and be empowered ourselves, so we can go to the villages of Alaska, our nation and the world. Nicholson reaffirmed what Brother Alexie shared of the importance of getting rid of bitterness in the Body of Christ. He also stated that before God moves, among us again, we need to recognize that the believers must be of one accord, similar to the first Pentecost in Act 2:1.
When true Unity comes and the Spirit of God pours out as we preach, teach and heal in the name of Jesus, and signs and wonders happen, Bishop Nicholson said he will not be the only one dancing. Russ Osterhaus will be dancing along with others too! Praise God.
