Also, beginning this Friday Night, we welcome Sister/Gospel Singer Yvonne St. Germaine to the Anchorage Moravian Church, February 28, March 1 & 2, 2025, nightly at 6 pm. Location of Moravian Church is 3512 Robin Street. Everyone feel welcome to attend as Evangelist Janet Altice will be our featured speaker. Following is sister Yvonne’s bio:

Yvonne St. Germaine, awarding winning singer hailis from Lloydminster SK, Canada.   Yvonne grew up listening to classic country artists such as Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline and George Jones. As her talent and love of music evolved, she eventually began to create her own twist on Country Gospel – a twist that has been very well received.

But it was more than a passion for music that inspired Yvonne to write and perform. From a toxic upbringing, to a life of addiction, to rock bottom and, finally, salvation in a prayer line, Yvonne experienced a life changing miracle and this is what has made her the artist that she is today.

Sister Yvonne is a recipient of almost twenty awards in Country Gospel music, Yvonne continues to do what she loves as an established independent artist: create, encourage and share her story. For the last sixteen years Yvonne has motivated captivated audiences at youth rallies, church rallies, jails, shelters and outreach programs. She has persevered with no external financial support; her accomplishments were achieved through a tenacious spirit and her faith in helping others wherever she can, including extremely remote and isolated indigenous communities throughout Canada’s north.

As an artist and creator, Yvonne is continually evolving and learning. Even with numerous awards and international recognition for the nine full-length albums already released, Yvonne knows that her message gets stronger as she pours back all the love and support that she has received throughout the years into every new project that she takes on. And although her music’s message breaks all boundaries and cultural borders, Yvonne’s heart belongs to our indigenous communities and her hope is to bring some healing to our Home and Native Land.
