KING JAMES BIBLE STUDY CHAPEL IN SOLDOTNA, ALASKA JOINS UAMM

Kenai Peninsula Moravian Church (KPMC) was a member Church of United Alaska Moravian Ministry group (UAMM), which started in 2014. KPMC has not been meeting regularly since summer 2017. In fact KPMC received Certificate of Involuntary Dissolution/Revocation (lost recognition) with the State of Alaska on March 9, 2018.

On March 19, 2019 UAMM’s Executive Committee held a special meeting to assure that weekly Moravian heritage type ministry restarts and continues in the Soldotna/Kenai area. A number of people living in the area have contacted UAMM’s leadership and desire weekly non-denominational worship there. OUT OF THIS, A BIG DECISION MADE ON MARCH 19,2019 BY UAMM’S EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE WAS TO FORMALLY RECOGNIZE KING JAMES BIBLE STUDY CHAPEL (AND ITS TWO PASTORS JEP HANSEN AND MARVIN TATE) AS A MEMBER CHURCH OF UAMM.

If you live in the Kenai Peninsula and are interested in regular “Spirit-filled” worship, please be invited and join us at a worship service scheduled in the Soldotna Kenai area on Sunday, March 24, 2019, 11 am. Location of service will be at King James Bible Study Chapel located on Echo Street Road, 1/4 mile from Sterling Highway in Soldotna.  Weekly services will continue at 30799 Echo Lake Rd, Soldotna, Alaska. The schedule is as follows:

Sunday Morning Worship, 11 am.
Sunday Evening Service, 6 pm
Thursday Bible Study, 6 pm.

Pastor Marvin Tate Jr. says, “This invite could change your life, FOREVER!”

Please note:  UAMM a ministry group is an evangelical church planting movement, not building a denomination, and is not associated with gay rights in the Moravian Church in America. UAMM stands on the entire Word of God and is not associated with the Moravian Church in America nor the Worldwide Moravian Unity. Instead it is associated with the World Fellowship of Moravian Revival Churches which exists in 10 countries.

Today UAMM with it’s 25 churches and fellowships are located in Alaska, the lower 48 states and Honduras. UAMM’s central offices located in Anchorage, Alaska exists to help it’s member churches and fellowships to equip, empower and send missionaries to the world. And it remains as a church of Christ, undefiled.
