Moravian Revival comes once every 300 years! First with John Huss, who was burned at the stake (1457), second with the Renewed Moravian Church under Count Nicholas von Zinzendorf (1727), and third, since 2012 Moravian revival continues under United International Moravian Ministry group (UIMM), which is a member religious organization of the World Fellowship of Moravian Revival Church existing in 7 countries of the world.
On May 18, 2025, 7 pm, in Bradenton, Florida three UIMM Bishops, The Rt. Rev. Dr. William Nicholson of Alaska, The Rt. Rev. Isai Granwell of Honduras, and The Rt. Rev. Dr. Geraldo Nixon of Florida administratored an historical ordination service. In a church full of well wishers mainly of Moskito Indian Spanish speaking descent from Central America, three men and one female were ordained as Moravian deacons into full time Moravian heritage ministry.
The Rev. Wilmer Alvarez Ramos, The Rev. Nery Morfy Cobos, The Rev. Gerardo Alvarado, and The Rev. Hideke Castellon Men, newly ordained by the three Moravian Revival Bishops (Nicholson, Granwell, and Nixon) of UIMM are Christ’s end day workers. One deacon is a Moravian pastor from New York City, two from communities in Florida, and one from Nicaraqua. The church awakening in Nicaraqua means that UIMM has influence for Christ now in 8 countries.
The pastor from Nicaraqua, the day after his ordination returned to his country to continue raising up a community of believers. All of these pastor recognize that they are part of a living family of God, doing their best to live out the full counsel of God’s Word and indeed will fulfill their mission of filling the skies with lost souls redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. As the Lord Jesus tarries they promised to disciple their people to evangelize the world.
Along with formal comments by Bishop Geraldo Nixon and Bishop Isai Granwell, Bishop William Nicholson gave a keynote address, summary excerpts as follows:
Remember Jesus Christ said in Matthew 7:21-23 – Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
Sadly not everyone who says Lord, Lord, will enter the Kingdom of God. As pastors and even all believers, we must strive daily, especially in these end days, to strive to know and follow God’s Will! Reflecting on his US Army Chaplain days serving in the combat zone in Iraq in 2004-2005, Bishop Nicholson said he did not find peace in his heart until God spoke to him, saying “Home is where the Will of the Lord is!” Challenging the pastors, Bishop Nicholson says, “Where-ever God brings you to serve Him in the world, recognize in spite of opposition or persecution, ‘Home is where the Will of the Lord is!’”
Again remember, Christ said, not all they that say Lord Lord shall inherit the Kingdom of God, but only they that do the will of my Father in Heaven. This is my challenge and my prayer is that daily you will do God’s Will among your family members, your church, and that you will fulfill His ordained plan for your lives. 1 Timothy 3:13 says, For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a good standing and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.”
Lastly, Nicholson shared one last thing for the newly to be ordained ministers. “Paul the Apostle loved to impart God’s Grace wherever he travel on his missionary journeys. I would like to impart one big gift to all of you; the gift of faithfulness to never give up no matter how difficult the days ahead are!”
