Notes on Bishop Isai Granwell: Brother Isai is from La Ceiba, Honduras. Shown in picture is his wife, Tangni with a powerful ministry, which includes many children in front of his Church in La Ceiba.
Currently Bishop Isai is President and Administrator of Moravian Revival Churches in the nation of Honduras. He serves on the United International Moravian Ministry Group (UIMM) Board of Directors. He is also UIMM’s International Outreach Director.
Originally we met Brother Isai who was attending a Moravian Unity Board meeting at Herrnhut, Germany in November 2012. At the time, he was President of the Moravian Traditional Churches in Honduras. All of the Presidents of the Worldwide Moravian Unity Provinces were in attendance at this meeting.
At the Unity Board meeting, Pastor Ferdinand Sharp, Sisters Carrie Paton and Nellie Kiunya, and Bishop William Nicholson proposed recognition for the Anchorage Moravian Church and Moravian Fellowship Churches in Manokotak and Kenai. Thankfully out of this the Unity Board created United Alaska Moravian Ministry group (UAMM, which later became UIMM). This group would never have come to life without the aggressive challenging questions and deliberations provided by Brother Isai Granwell of Honduras. We thank him for his leadership and continued support of UIMM’s work in Alaska, in America, and throughout the world.
Almost two years ago Brother Isai traveled to the Communist country of Cuba, where he was able to help seven Traditional Moravian Churches who wanted to remain in fidelity to the entire Word of God, to join UIMM. Bishop Nicholson was warned not to go and would probably still be in prison there, but Bishop Isai went. UIMM had to hire a lawyer to get him out. Thankfully Honduras has a better working elationship with Cuba than America.
Bishop Isai has a wife and several children, who are great prayer warriors and supportive of his work in Honduras. Folks, please continue to uplift this great man in prayer. Let’s bless him during his time with us in Anchorage, Alaska.
PURPOSE FOR TITHES & OFFERINGS AS FOLLOWS: The need is great for giving. Reason, we have our top pastor, Jose Manuel, in prison in Cuba. Needed is $300 right away to hire a lawyer to get him out. We do not have sufficient dollars yet to purchase an airline ticket to get Bishop Isai back to Seattle then to Florida where he can continue to ministry at our new Moravian Revival Church in Sarasota, Floria and meet with other spiritual leaders who potentially may work with us or even possibly join UIMM.
UIMM’s dollars are used to provide dollars for transportation on mission work, for church building materials, for food and emergency medical aid for our pastors in Honduras, Cuba, and three countries in Africa (Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda). Dollars are also sent to support an Orphanage of over 20 children in Uganda, support for a Gospel Radio Station. Also, we are still paying $100 monthly for a Walking Tractor in Uganda to help grow agricultural products for food for the hungry. GOD BLESS EACH ONE OF YOUR FOR GIVING!
