Thanksgiving goes out to Bishop Isai Granwell of La Ceiba, Hondura, for travelling long distance arriving Anchorage, Alaska, late night, May 3 and leaving us a week later May 10, 2023. He effectively and powerfully ministered to Alaska’s United International Moravian Ministry (UIMM) leadership as well as participating in two afternoons of UIMM’s Directors meetings, which was chaired by Bishop William Nicholson, President of UIMM and Co-Chair of the World Fellowship of Moravian Revival Churches.
An outstanding word of appreciation goes to Bishop Isai for assuring positive results of a recent international missions’ trip. As a result of his trip to Cuba 5 new Churches were added to UIMM
During this week long visit, Bishop Isai, who is UIMM’s International Outreach Director participated in UIMM’s Pastoral leadership training. He was also a special speaker for three nights of revival at Central Lutheran Church.
The pastors training event was well attended with the two major training topics on Friday and Saturday, May 5-6, 2023, 10 am – 3:30 pm. The fist day of instruction at the Anchorage Moravian Church was Homiletics to assure our pastors have more indepth training to effectively preach God’s Word. Along with Bishop Isai, Bishop William Nicholson and Pastor Bob Monette provided presentations on presentation of the God’s Word.
The second topic, mainly instructed on the 2nd day of training was “Witchcraft in the Church”. Along with three instructors mentioned, Sister Fabiana Gauden, gave an indepth presentation on insights showing how the Church can combat witchcraft and satanism impacting our Churches in Alaska, today. Questions, answers and general sharing was very effective in the learning process. Bishop Isai’s main presentation on witchcraft deal with the Jezebell Spirit that is causing confusion, hurt, and division with the Chruch.
We especially thank Bishop Isai Granwell for travelling to Wasilla to speak at Pastor Tim Sergie’s House of Prayer Moravian Church. When time permitted Bishop Isai visited homes, along with Bishop Nicholson to minister encouragement, hope, salvation and deliverance.
Bishop Nicholson and his wife, Barbara, drove to Seward, Alaska, on May 9, 2023 with Bishop Isai to visit Brother Dean Carl, who is currently putting in 130 loads of gravel fill and cutting lumber to erect a new Seminary and Guest House on his property. This property is New Herrnhut Bible Seminary. Fellowship with Brother Dean Carl was very special and it was wonderful to see the construction unfolding.
Thanks to everyone that donated funds to support the UIMM ministry to the World.
