Sunday Night Singspiration, March 15, 2026, 6 pm, at Anchorage Moravian Church was a blessing for everyone. Meeting started on time and ended petty much on time. Sister Nellie Kiunya led the singing following the order of worship service. Pastor Earl Carlson brought an excellent message as follows:
Emphasis was on the importance of offering genuine sacrifices to God, as exemplified by Abel’s offering of the firstborne of his flock, which was accepted by God, contrasting with Cain’s offering of produce from the ground, which was rejected. The mesage highlightged the dangers of becoming too familiar with God and taking his blessings for granted. It stressed the need for humility, repentance, and true love in worship, warning against pride and jealousy.
The prodigal son’s story showed the consequences of squandring God’s blessings and the importance of returning with a repentant humble heart. The message and singspiration ended with a call to seek God diligently and bring offerings of love and service for God to others.
Bishop Nicholson hopes to summarize the messages offered by other pastors in the worship opportunities ahead. That way together, we may see God’s heart and respond willing to serve Him more in accordance with His Will for our lives, as a church and individually.
Also in the worship services ahead our ministers should keep in mind sermon length. This way together we can make over running not a habit to respect the pastors schedule and congregations time
