Worthy is the Lamb

We are in the season of Lent 2024. It’s always a good time of contemplation of what Christ has done for us all.

One of the comments in the early 18th century that blessed me was of the first and early Moravian missionaries leaving Herrnhut, Germany to the world. They departed home to reward the Lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the world. They left because they wanted to favor and bless the Lamb for his supreme sacrifice on Calvary.

The Moravian missionaries left the comfort of home proclaiming “The Lamb that was slain would receive the reward of his crucifixion and the flame of their prayer never went out for a hundred years. (Leviticus 6:3).  May the missionaries and pastors that go out among the Moravian Revival Churches always remember that Lamb who has conquered; Let us Follow Him.  We never uplift self; only Christ and he will draw others to him.
