United International Moravian Ministry group’s (UIMM) logo is separate and distinct from the Moravian Unity Logo shown here. This is the old logo (shown) which the Anchorage Moravian Church used to be under from the early 1970s until exclusion by the Worldwide Moravian Unity Synod in Jamaica in 2016- “Our Lamb Has Conquered; Let Us Follow Him”. This old logo is respected and honored!
A little history should be shared before the new Moravian Lion logo is explained, below. UIMM (formerly called United Alaska Moravian Ministry) is a Moravian Group recognized by the Unitas Fratrum on November 2012. In August 2016 during the Moravian Unity Synod in Jamaica, although UIMM was formally and unfairly excluded from fellowship with the Moravian Unity, but it is still recognized as a Moravian heritage Church that is “exploding in power and influence throughout the world”. This is affirmed by Bishop Emmaus Mwamakula, President of The Moravian Revival Church in Tanzania, located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. It is also affirmed by Allied Mission Church, Churches in the Philippines and Cambodia having Moravian heritage.
Currently UIMM is rewriting Moravian history as a global Moravian heritage ministry. But more than that, it is the will of countless other godly Moravian leaders feeling estranged or persecuted by the Traditional Church following God’s voice and being in Unity to bring the Gospel of our Chief Elder “Jesus Christ” to the World!
Today UIMM is a quickly growing fellowship with Moravians in America and other countries desiring to join a “Living church that stands on the entire Word of God” and is willing to be evangelical and expand the Kingdom of God before Christ comes again. UIMM’s vision is to strengthen and grow Moravian Heritage Churches and Fellowships, everywhere the Spirit of God leads. UIMM exists as a Holy Spirit led organization, which uplifts Jesus Christ as Savior, Lord, and Chief Elder of the Church. And since 2018, UIMM participated with several other Moravian bishops in creation of a new organization called World Fellowship of Moravian Revival Churches (WFMRC), which now exists in seven countries. Bishop William Nicholson is Co-chair of WFMRC in the northern hemisphere. Bishop Emmaus Mwamakula is Co-Chair of WFMRC in the southern hemisphere of the world.
UIMM’s logo shown here is being used in the United States of America and Honduras. This logo is one that the Moravian Revival Churches throughout the world in the Northern Hemisphere is using. The lamb who has conquered; let us follow him is still signified by the lamb as shown. But there is much more symbolized in the Lion logo.
The Moravian Lion logo was approved by UIMM’s administrations and Churches on October 31, 2018, and is explainable by the following scriptures:
