Beginnings, a Moravian Youth Revival

By Bishop William Nicholson

Three nights (September 29, 20, and October 1, 2023) singing, sharing, and worshipping, together a Youth Revival sponsored by the Anchorage Moravian Church and United International Moravian Ministry group was a resounding encouragement for everyone! During a busy hunting season, although the attendance was not as good Friday and Saturday night, Sunday Night the Anchorage Moravian Red Church was aglow with praise, thanksgiving and Native people from southwestern, west and northern Alaska.

Together with upstretched arms and voices singing towards heaven, many participants felt it was a Holy Ghost experience with a sweet wind blowing in the sanctuary. As the two teens from Oregon, Abby, shown in photo, and Caleb Carson aged 15 and 16 respectfully, and a teen, Shanley Ekamrak from Anchorage, and Daniel Nielsen, a young adult from Dillingham, shared their words of faith and encouragement, the congregation hung on every word of grace from God.

A big outcome is that Teens and members of the younger generation, “called and chosen of God”, should be encouraged to find Christ as Savior, go to Church and fellowship with other believers and overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil. Those that already know Christ as Savior “must not forsake the assembly” and truly celebrate their salvation experience, get discipled in the Spiritual gifts and sign gifts, and work to “fill the skies with lost souls redeemed by the blood of the Lamb of God, when Christ comes as King of Kings and Lord of Lord in the clouds with glory.”

God is giving us more! This is a trust. Pastor Earl Carlson from Roseburg, Oregon was consecrated as a deacon of the Moravian Revival Church on Sunday night, October 1, 2023, 6 pm, by Bishop William Nicholson, administrator of UIMM and Co-Chair of the World Fellowship of the Moravian Revival Churches.

Certainly many feel, we are being blessed with increase and along with this increase we are being blessed with workers to handle the responsibilities this increase brings! And the more we have, the more we must put to work what God gives us, and the more we do this, the more he will give us! Praise God.

Together with Traditional Moravians and Moravian Revival Christians, we continue to move forward in God’s Will.
