ARE YOU COMMITTED TO YOUR CHURCH?

UPDATE CONCERNING COMMITMENTS to the Anchorage Moravian Church (AncMC) or any United International Moravian Ministry (UIMM) Church. Comments provided by Bishop William Nicholson, Senior Pastor of the AncMC, President of UIMM, and Chair of the World Fellowship of Moravian Revival Churches in the Northern Hemisphere:

As a result of an AncMC Joint Board meeting on Sunday, March 1, 2020, it was felt our Church should be run as Christ’s business in line with established biblical and bylaws procedures. The leaders of our church should be more visible in weekly worship services and special services. Encouragements are there for all to pray for God’s presence and favor. And that everything we do be in accordance with Christ’s agenda and wishes to be Lord of our Church. We are banding together in agreement that God will move, visit us and show us His supernatural power bringing healing to our families at all levels of our work and ministries.

In addition, it was agreed that our church members should be committed to the life of this church without which we will not be able discipleship our people and reach out to Alaska, our nation and the world. Encouragements are for our members to stop church hopping and commit time, tithes, and offerings to the AncMC and its mission of reaching out. When other ministers and churches proselyte you, remember the importance of remaining with your home Church.

Most of all we desire to remember the biblical admonition from Hebrews 10:25 – Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
