The World Fellowship of Moravian Revival Churches and United International Moravian Ministary group are biblical coverings for end day Moravian Revival Churches that recognize they are truly a Family of God, follow the Full Counsel of God’s Word, and are a Great Commission entity. It’s focus is to maintain a positive witness of Christ’s Gospel and strive to respect and remain in unity with all Moravians (Traditional or Moravian Revival) worldwide. I have found out that there is a big misconception out there, which must be corrected. CLARIFICATION IS IMPORTANT THAT OUR MORAVIAN REVIVAL CHURCHES ARE NOT PENTECOSTAL; INSTEAD WE ARE MORAVIAN! We “always” follow the Customs and Practices of the Moravian Church. Our practice is to follow the Moravian Liturgical Year. We use the Moravian Texts. We do practice the Moravian way of baptism, Confirmation, the Lord’s Supper. We celebrate Advent, use the Moravian Star, do yearly Moravian Candlelight services, practice Holy Week Passion Readings and conduct Easter Sunrise services at the Anchorage Memoral Park Cemetery and Moravian Lovefeast on Easter Sunday. And we do follow the Moravian Covenant for Christian Living. The Anchorage Moravian Church uses the Our Lamb Has Conquered; Let Us Follow Him, logo, as shown here.
We love our young people. Catechism instruction are done the way its always done in the villages and they are confirmed on Palm Sunday. We welcome anyone interested in catechism instruction. We are also open to funeral services for Moravians.
If you feel you are a Moravian from the villages of Alaska, or anywhere for that matter. Visit us, especially for our one hour worship every Sunday, 11 am, at 3512 Robin Street. We also have Sunday evening service, 6 pm, and Wednesday Night Bible Study & Prayer, 6 pm. Friday Night Ministry is at 6:30 pm.
God bless you.
