UNITED INTERNATIONAL MORAVIAN MINISTRY GROUP, a member of the World Fellowship of Moravian Revival Churches throughout eight nations, as of October 15, 2025, in unity are praying to God for those that have been adversely impacted by Typhoon Halong last weekend. Those of you especially from Chefornak, Kipuk, Kwigillingok, Napakiak, Nightmute, Napakiak, Bethel, and Shakoolik (and other impacted villages), please know that the bishops and pastors and Moravian Revival peoples are praying that God will move through the governmental, civic, church groups, and concerned people to help you. So too, we pray for God’s comfort and strength for those impacted that God will not only meet needs, but grant grace and peace. Indeed “God is our refuge and strength, an every present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea” (Psalm 46:1-2).
THOSE OF YOU WHO WOULD LIKE TO ASSIST THE DEAR PEOPLE WITH DOLLARS, designated by the UIMM Executive Committee (made up of leaders from Anchorage, Dillingham, Honduras, Manokotak and Kotzebue), feel free to donate to the Anchorage Moravian Church Pushpay site QR attached here. Please designate as disaster gift.
If a donor wants to write a check out for giving, please make it out to United International Moravian Ministry or UIMM. You may also go to www.alaskamoravian.com for more information. A donation button at the Giving section (menu) is on top of homepage. Again, please designate as “disaster gift”. GOD BLESS YOU FOR GIVING.
NOTE: It’s good that the City of Bethel, Alaska, has assistance too.
